Kulturhaus Bad Münstereifel: A jewel for the district of Euskirchen
The Kulturhaus Bad Münstereifel is located in the heart of Bad Münstereifel, right next to the old collegiate church. The two actors Christiane Remmert and Jojo Ludwig have made their dream come true in the rooms of the boys' school built in 1890 and created a center for exclusive and high-quality culture. Since its opening in October 2007, the two professionals have used their private money alone and without subsidies to establish the house as the top address for culture, and not just for Münstereifel. The Kulturhaus has also made an excellent name for itself far beyond the borders of the Euskirchen district.
In addition to the two operators' own productions, guest performances by various, often international artists from the fields of concerts, literature, puppet theater, dance, drama and cabaret are also staged. There are also changing exhibitions of paintings, sculptures and photography.
The premises are also frequently used for private or business events, such as weddings, birthdays or company anniversaries, which are usually celebrated in conjunction with a theater performance.
The cultural offerings are spread over two floors: on the first floor is the event room with 99 seats, on the second floor is a seminar room that houses a dance studio and also regularly hosts seminars from the adult education center as well as acting, singing, dance and meditation courses. Another room, also on the second floor, offers space for smaller-scale events or for entertaining guests at private rentals.
All visitors (and also the press) agree that Münstereifel has a gem here that offers both a pleasant, lovingly designed atmosphere and a program of exclusive but not indigestible culture that is probably unique in the entire district.
