Bad Münstereifel. The City Outlet Bad Münstereifel is celebrating an important anniversary this year: 11 years ago, it opened as an innovative outlet center with around 40 fashion and lifestyle brands in the historic setting of Bad Münstereifel and has shaped the shopping experience in the region ever since. Despite difficult times, the outlet has shown remarkable resilience and confidence - and is even planning to grow further.
After the challenges of Corona, the flood disaster in 2021 was another low blow. However, with courage and cohesion, the second opening took place in 2022 - stronger and livelier than before. To compensate for the loss of the anniversary year, the 10th birthday is being celebrated this year.
Over the years, the City Outlet has established itself as an important part of local life and has organized numerous events that promote the community and support local retail. This anniversary week is a thank you to the loyal customers and contributors who have supported the outlet over the years. The celebrations are not only an opportunity to look back on past successes, but also to look to the future. Marc Brucherseifer, operator of the City Outlet, emphasizes: „We are proud of what we have achieved in the last eleven years and motivated to contribute to keeping Bad Münstereifel alive for many more years to come.“
Expansion in planning
Following the opening of the new building in Trierer Straße in 2024, which added another four stores to the City Outlet, the next expansion is already being planned. „The last eleven years have been an incredible journey with many challenges - and we have always kept our goal firmly in sight,” continues Brucherseifer.
„The planned expansion will further improve the shopping experience and open up new
prospects for the future,“ adds Julia Brucherseifer, Managing Director of the City Outlet.

As part of its 10th anniversary celebrations, the City Outlet Bad Münstereifel is hosting a big „Birthday Week“ from August 11 to 16. Visitors can look forward to many highlights, special promotions and an indescribable family atmosphere.

The highlight of the celebrations is the big anniversary party on August 16 with a spectacular performance by Glasperlenspiel. Guests can also look forward to an exciting supporting program during the week: the popular Steiff mascot Fynn is looking forward to hugs and is available for photos, while the youngest visitors can get creative at the Sigikid painting station. At Ravensburger and Sigikid, excitingly filled wheels of fortune await all those who want to challenge their luck.
To get in the mood for the big birthday celebration, Bugatti is inviting guests to an exclusive pre-birthday party on August 15. On this day, the store will be transformed into a stylish event location, where fine cakes, a Prosecco bar and the popular strawberry punch will ensure enjoyable and refreshing moments.
