Three weeks have now passed since the major flood disaster in Germany. During this time, we have gone through pretty much every feeling you can imagine, from sadness and despair to helplessness and hope. On the very first day after the flood, we made the decision that kept us going until today's hope: We will rebuild.

On that day, we could not have imagined how much support we would receive. We received donations and helping hands from all corners of Germany to encourage the citizens of our small town and give them a helping hand.

We can hardly put our gratitude into words. Today, we are full of optimism that we will be able to restore Bad Münstereifel to its former glory one day. Nevertheless, the damage is still far from being repaired and many people are unfortunately still in an emergency situation.

If you would like to support the residents who are still suffering from the consequences of the disaster, you can donate to the Bad Münstereifel Community Foundation. The money raised there will be used solely for the victims of the flood.
